Release Notes - 27ᵗʰ of August 2026

We are excited to share the latest enhancements deployed to Invent Medical! This update introduces package insurance claiming, room density controls for the schedule, an overhauled patient alerts system, faster performance across key reports, and new administrative cleanup workflows.

📑 Insurance & Claims​

  • Package Insurance Claiming:
    • Packages can now be claimed directly to the insurer as a whole, rather than requiring each included procedure to be claimed individually. Claims are initiated directly from the package record.
    • Procedures within a claimed package are automatically tagged as "Covered by package claim" and excluded from the claimable list to prevent duplicate submissions.
    • The procedures tab explicitly displays which package an individual procedure belongs to.
    • Updated both the Insurance Claim Report and the Procedures Not Billed to Insurance Report to support package line items.
  • Claim Adjustments & Filtering:
    • Resolved estimation override issues on claim lines and restored active list filters on the main claims view.

📅 Schedule & Workflow Tools​

  • Room Density Control:
    • Introduced a density layout selector with four modes: Minimal, Compact, Comfortable (default), and Spacious.
    • The Minimal density setting streamlines appointment cards and blockouts down to core essentials, allowing multi-room clinics to view their full schedule without horizontal scrolling.
  • Fullscreen Mode & Adaptive Design:
    • Added a dedicated full-screen mode that hides browser and navigation panels to maximize calendar space.
    • Redesigned appointment cards, group appointment cards, blockouts, and room headers to maintain full readability as column widths compress.

🔔 Patient Alerts​

  • Patient Alerts System:
    • Renamed "Patient Popups" to "Patient Alerts" across the entire platform; existing popups have been seamlessly migrated.
  • Flexible Alert Behaviors:
    • Alerts can now be configured as standing notes without forcing a popup window, eliminating unnecessary click-throughs.
    • Added a collapsible Alerts section directly within the patient information panel.
    • Introduced module-specific targeting to display alerts exclusively in the Appointments module (visible on calendar hover cards and appointment booking forms) so front desk staff see critical notes during scheduling.

📊 Reports & Performance​

  • Report Speed Optimization: Significantly accelerated load times for the Patient List Report, Aging Report, and Package Report.
  • Invoice Report Columns: Added dedicated Company and Provider tracking columns to the Invoice Report.

⚙️ Platform & Administration​

  • Tenant Cleanup Workflows:
    • Introduced an automated account cleanup workflow that flags accounts following subscription terminations or erasure requests, transitioning them through disabled, purging, and purged states with admin override options.
  • Data Migration Tracking:
    • Added a new Data Migrations dashboard under tenant configurations to track the real-time progress of active data migration pipelines.

🛠️ General Fixes & Platform Polish​

  • Corrected invoice line discount permission enforcement.
  • Fixed company switcher alignment issues to properly accommodate long branch names.
  • Resolved element key validation bugs that previously prevented migrated form and encounter templates from saving.
